Dear Toy Manufacturer/Retailer,

We are very tired of trying to find great female action figures for our daughters/sons/nieces/nephews/grandkids/friend’s children in our local toy stores. There are plenty of male characters from our favorite movies, but the female characters are ridiculously underrepresented. We want to let you know that we’ve noticed and, although in the past we have bought girl-themed items instead, what we really want to buy is female action figures. We realize that gender discrimination in the marketplace won’t change until social attitudes change. We want to let you know that they are changing. If you don’t get with the program you are going to lose sales.  We know that the products on the market won’t change unless we speak up which is why I am sending you this message. These are the characters I would like to be able to buy:
